Jesus Christ through gospel music ministries, encouraging fellowship, support, networking
and development {both spiritual and artistic} to exalt
the name of Jesus Christ.
The Indianapolis Gospel Music Association was
founded in 1974 with its main purpose to be that of spreading the gospel of
Jesus Christ through music and to promote interest in gospel music among the
general public. The above mission

Members of the IGMA benefit from the experience of
others in the organization through networking and fellowship at the monthly
district meetings. The Annual IGMA
Retreat/Camp Meeting, Gospel Sings, Enrichment Events and the Annual Awards
Banquet bring all the Indian districts together for singing, sharing, and
fellowship. Praying for the needs of
each other is always a priority. The
IGMA helps individuals and groups to grow in ministry and in Christ.
